Newcastle to host 2025 Australian Kart Championship Round Three

Karting Australia is nearing the finalisation of the schedule for the 2025 SP Tools Australian Kart Championship, with the Newcastle Kart Racing Club confirmed as the first venue to be announced.

The New South Wales venue will host Round Three of the Championship from June 13-15, 2025. All five rounds of the 2025 Championship will be contested over three days, with Championship classes being Cadet 9, Cadet 12, KA3 Junior, KA3 Senior, TaG 125, X30, KA2 and KZ2.

Additionally, drivers who competed in all five rounds of the 2024 Championship will receive guaranteed entry for 2025, as will those who compete in both events of the upcoming Summer Series presented by GoPro in Newcastle and Melbourne.

Entries for the opening event in the Summer Series on October 19/20, hosted by the Newcastle Kart Racing Club, close on Friday October 11.

Further dates and venues for the 2025 AKC will be announced soon, with Championship regulations to follow.  Full Championship entries will open in December.
