Bas Kaligis / Saturday, March 21, 2020 / Categories: International MSA: COVID-19 and Motorsport Since its communication this past Monday, MSA has been closely monitoring the developments with regard to the coronavirus pandemic. Based on the information available, it is clear that this situation is not one that is going to be resolved in the short term and therefore the suspension of MSA-sanctioned motorsport events already in place, is hereby extended to the end of April. The status with regard to the pandemic will be reviewed again after the Easter weekend, when the schools are currently scheduled to return. MSA remains hopeful that the suspended championship events will be able to be re-scheduled once the situation in the country has stabilised and motorsport activities are able to resume. In the meantime, MSA will engage with event organisers and series promoters to consider possible options in this regard.
