More than 200 drivers already entered the 29th Andrea Margutti Trophy


The traditional Andrea Margutti Trophy will once again have a great participation. More than 200 drivers already entered the 29th edition of this historic race organized by Parma Motorsport for next March 9-11 at the South Garda Karting circuit in Lonato.

A lot of strong national and international drivers will challenge each other in the categories KZ2, OK, OK-Junior, 60 Mini and X30 Senior, the latter will contest the first round of the X30 Trophy 2018 in the occasion. As usual, a cap to the number of entrants has been set and the subscription deadline is February 28th in order to organize the best possible event.

Among the teams lining up the highest number of drivers, CRG Racing Team, Baby Race, Gamoto, Ward Racing, Evokart and Solgat, lead the way, but other important teams of the likes of Maranello Kart, BRM, Formula K, Team Driver, HK Motorsport, SRP Racing Team, Parolin, AF Competition, KSB, TB Kart, Ricky Flinn, Koski Motorsport, TB Racing, Praga VMS Racing, NGM Motorsport, Kart CZ, Renda Motorsport, Autoeuropeo, Modena Kart, GP Racing, and several others will be present too.

A lot of protagonists will get to Lonato resolute to be part of the Hall of Fame of this important event. Riccardo Longhi won the latest edition of the race in KZ2, Callum Bradshaw alike in OK, Andrea Rosso in OK-Junior, Vittorio Maria Russo in X30 and Alfio Spina in 60 Mini.

All categories will fit Vega tyres with the only exception of X30 Senior that will use Komet tyres.

 

The provisional program of the 29th Andrea Margutti Trophy follows (local time):

Thursday March 8th: Free Practice from 8.30 to 17.30, Sporting Scrutineering from 10.00 to 17.30.

Friday March 9th: Sporting scrutineering from 8.00 to 8.30 (X30 Senior); Transponder collection from 8.00 to 10.00; Free practice with transponder from 8.30 to 13.00; Technical Scrutineering from  9.00 to 13.30; Tyres draw from 9.00 to 13.30; Briefing from 11.00 to 13.00; official Practice from 13.00 to 15.00; Qualifying Practice from 15.15 to 17.30.

Saturday March 10th: Warm-up from 8.30 to 10.30; Qualifying heats from 10.45 to 17.30.

Sunday March 11th: Warm-up from 8.30 to 10.30; Second chance races from 10.40; Prefinals from 11.40; Finals from 14.30; Prize Ceremony at 17.40.
