Martinius Stenshorne joins Hitech Pulse-Eight in the 2024 FIA Formula 3 Championship

Norwegian talent Martinius Stenshorne joins Hitech off the back of an impressive year in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, where he claimed both the Vice and Rookie Champion titles.

Starting out in karting in Norway, Stenshorne took his first national title at just 9-years-old, then international titles soon followed on his way up the ranks. He collected a number of accolades in his early years in karts which soon gained him a place on the prestigious Rosberg Racing Academy.

In 2022, the 17-year-old driver made his debut in single-seaters in the Middle East’s F4 UAE Championship, collecting one podium and finishing 10th overall. A further campaign in Italian F4 the same year saw Stenshorne take two podiums on his way to 7th in the standings. He also competed in one round of Spanish F4.

Earlier this year, Stenshorne completed three out of five rounds in the Formula Regional Middle East Championship, before stepping up to a full campaign in the European-based series, widely known as FRECA. He scored five wins, four pole positions and ended a victorious season as Vice and Rookie Champion.

Stenshorne commented, “I am looking forward to making the step up to FIA F3 with Hitech next season. I have every confidence that they will allow me to develop in my rookie season in the championship. It will be a new challenge for me, however, I am feeling eager to be fighting for the top spots from the get-go.”

Hitech’s FIA F3 Team Manager, Paul Bellringer, added, “We are delighted to add Martinius to our Formula 3 line-up for 2024. He showed great potential during testing and given his race-winning form in FRECA this year, we are confident that we will have an exciting and successful season together.”
