Mari Boya joins Campos Racing Driver Roster for 2024 FIA Formula 3 Season

Campos Racing is pleased to announce Spaniard Mari Boya as the most recent addition to its driver line-up for the upcoming 2024 FIA Formula 3 Championship season. Boya joins German-Danish Oliver Goethe as the Red Bull Junior Driver was confirmed last week. Boya is another perfect example of Campos Racing efforts to support emerging talents from Spain following the steps of Marc Gené, Fernando Alonso, Antonio García, Álex Palou or Pepe Martí, among others.

Boya was born in Les (Lleida, Spain) and will head into 2024 with high ambitions and aspirations following a promising rookie season this year. Boya, aged 19, is a three-time national Champion as he won Spanish Karting Championship in 2015, 2016, and 2017 in different categories. The Spaniard stepped up to single-seater racing in 2020 finishing Vice-Champion in the F4 Spanish Championship with 3 wins and 14 podiums to his name. Besides, Boya recently finished 2nd in the 2023 Eurocup-3 season with five wins and nine podiums throughout the season. He also made his first appearance in the Macau Grand Prix in November, taking 4th place in the narrow streets of the former Portuguese colony.

Campos Racing and their new drivers Boya and Goethe carried out very positive post-season testing in Jerez, Barcelona, and Imola with both young aces making it regularly in the top-5.

Adrián Campos (Campos Racing Team Principal): “We are glad to have Mari with us for the next season. Definitively, he is one of the most talented drivers in the field. Despite 2023 was his rookie season, there were several highlights proving the best is still to come with more experience under his belt. Post-season testing was quite good for us and the new season looks pretty promising. Campos Racing has a tradition of working with emerging Spanish talents, and Mari is just a new chapter of our history.”

Mari Boya (Campos Racing Driver of FIA Formula 3): “I feel super happy to be joining Campos Racing for a second season of FIA Formula 3. I feel motivated and confident following such positive post-season testing in which was my first time working on track with my new team. A new era just begins and I’m looking forward to starting the new season and achieve success together.”
