Maranello Kart at the Italian Championship in Val Vibrata. Debut for Francesco Lacovacci
Iacovacci is set to make his debut in KZ2 with Maranello Kart for this season finale. Bernardotto back among the fields of the Italian outfit. Sani and a good number of KZ3 drivers also present in Val Vibrata.
Maranello Kart is about to face the closing part of the season with some important news. The racing team welcomes in fact Francesco Iacovacci among its fields. The driver from Rome is among the most competitive on the international scene and will make his debut with Maranello Kart’s colors in KZ2 this coming weekend at the Italian ACI Karting Championship’s sixth round to be held in Val Vibrata (Teramo).
Francesco Iacovacci is a twenty-years old driver with a long experience and now he will be part of the Maranello Kart racing team. He will be a sure protagonist of the CIK-FIA International round in Super Cup KZ2 next September 9th in Genk (Belgium).
Enrico Bernardotto will also be among the Maranello Kart’s lot in Genk and he will be at the comeback on the Italian chassis in the most important race of the KZ2 season with Team SRP.
Next August 26th, at the Italian Championship’s round in Val Vibrata, Flavio Sani will also be present in KZ2 alongside Francesco Iacovacci, as he has recently won the Regional Championship round held on this circuit in preparation to the Italian Championship’s race.
Maranello Kart will field a good number of drivers in KZ3 in Val Vibrata. In Junior, Mattia Giannini is quite resolute to bounce back from the opener in La Conca, while Maranello Kart’s colors in Under will be defended by Alessio Zanotti, who is currently fifth in the overall classification after the opener in La Conca, Michael Dalle Stelle, Francesca Cifola, Francesco Alaimo, Filippo D’Attanasio, Irnerio Cittadini, Rodolfo Massaro and Stefano Bonanno. Cristian Griggio will be among the most awaited protagonists of Maranello Kart in KZ3 Over, as he secured a podium finish in La Conca and stands fourth in the Italian Championship’s classification. Alongside him, Simone Maman and Marco Tessarolo respectively stand sixth and tenth in the provisional classification. The other drivers on Maranello Kart’s chassis are Attilio Borghi and Angelo De Santis.
The program of the Italian ACI Karting Championship in Val Vibrata will kick off on Thursday August 23rd with free practice, exception made for KZ3 that will begin its weekend on Friday August 24th. Qualifying practice will take place on Friday afternoon, while qualifying heats will follow on Saturday August 25th and the double finals of each category will be on Sunday August 26th with live coverage on AutoMotoTV (Sky 228), live streaming at www.acisportitalia.it and on the Italian ACI Karting Facebook page “@ACIKarting”.
