Bas Kaligis / Friday, May 26, 2023 / Categories: DKM Live timing & Results: Round 2 of the German Kart Championship at the ‘Home of Champions’ in Genk Not far from the German-Dutch border, the ‘Home of Champions’ circuit has been part of the race calendar of Germany's top kart racing series for many years and again promises great karting. Over 100 drivers will be competing in the four categories - some of them the best kart drivers in the world. There is also a great interest in the DMSB Shifter Kart Cup - 44 participants have submitted their entries which represents the largest field at the weekend. The categories are rounded-off by the German Junior Kart Championship (DJKM). Despite an attempt to announce the DKM (OK class) with a shortened program, there was only a small interest of participants, and the class will also be suspended in Genk. In the supporting program, the youngsters from the Mini 60 Series by Chrono Karting will be represented again. After the great success in Muelsen, the guest series will start at all outstanding rounds of the DKM. In Genk, the single-race event feature sees an increase to 20 drivers in the field.
