Keanu Al Azhari joins Hitech Pulse-Eight for 2025 GB3 Championship campaign
Hitech Pulse-Eight has confirmed that Keanu Al Azhari will join the team for the 2025 GB3 Championship.
The 17-year-old Emirati is stepping up to the series after two seasons of Formula 4. Building on an auspicious 2023 debut on the fourth rung of the ladder, an impressive second campaign showcased Keanu’s progress and promise.
In the 2024 F4 Spanish Championship, four wins, nine podiums and five pole positions put him in title contention throughout the season, which he ultimately concluded as Vice-Champion with a narrow 10-point margin to overall victory. In the 2024 F4 UAE Championship, Keanu earned two wins, five podiums and four pole positions to secure third place overall.
Prior to transitioning to cars, Keanu had worked his way through the ranks in karting, and notably secured the runner-up spot in IAME Series UAE – X30 Junior in the 2019-2020 season, going on to be crowned Champion in 2020-2021. From there he graduated to the FIA Karting series, first in OK-Junior then progressing into the OK category.
Keanu Al Azhari said: “I’m excited to be making the step up to GB3 with Hitech for the 2025 season. 2024 has been a fantastic year for me with the results in the Spanish and UAE F4 Championships. After two years in F4 I now feel ready for this next chapter in my single-seater career and I look forward to working with the team to help them enjoy another successful season in the series.”
Team Manager Phil Blow said: “We’re delighted to welcome Keanu to Hitech’s next GB3 campaign. We have kept a close eye on him in Formula 4 this season and alongside Deagen Fairclough and Nikita Johnson we feel we will have another strong line-up with which to fight for both titles in 2025.”
