Karting Champions League "Changes made to the Karting Champions League calendar"

The Karting Champions League was set up specifically to find Europe's new racing talent. To give all the top talent a chance to prove themselves, we had to change our approach and therefore the calendar for 2024. After hearing that most talented European drivers wanted to participate but could not combine their schedules with ours, we decided to go ahead with four of the eight scheduled races.

The new calendar will start later in 2024 and will feature the following circuits:

Rudskogen, Norway  |  Friday 31 May – Saturday 1 June
Valencia, Spain  |  Friday 12 July – Sunday 14 July
Angerville, France  |  Friday 4 October – Sunday 6 October
Campillos, Spain  |  Friday 22 November – Sunday 24 November

Other significant changes are that drivers must bring their mechanic and that the drivers can enter per race. It further remains the Arrive & Drive kart series with CRG karts, Rotax or TM engines, and Vega tyre

Henk de Jong (Initiator):
"When we first announced the Karting Champions League, we received more than 100 responses. They were drivers who immediately wanted to sign up or were very interested. In the meantime, we talked to a lot of karters, and many of them wanted to participate, but eight races plus a test weekend was just too much. Therefore, we have now reduced it to four races. And it is possible to sign up per weekend. We have added some extra prizes, but the most important one is still, for the champion in K2, the 2025 season driving in Spanish Formula 4 with MP Motorsport."
