Kart CRG: The WSK Euro takes place in Lonato this weekend
International karting returns to South Garda Karting in Lonato for the 1st round of the WSK Euro Series from 6th to 11th April. For the CRG Racing Team this home race (the track is only 1 km away from the factory) will represent a new opportunity to prepare for the FIA events, which will begin in May.
12 official drivers will take part to this race and the largest group will be in the KZ premier class, where Jeremy Iglesias, Alex Irlando, Jorge Pescador, Paolo Ippolito and Brandon Nilsson will get behind the wheel. Other two drivers you need to keep an eye on in the KZ category are Natalia Balbo and Giacomo Pollini, who will race there with the partner team NGM Motorsport.
In the OK category the French Arthur Rogeon this time will be joined by Alexander Bardas, wild card in this category, as he usually races with CRG in the single-make championships.
Also in OK Junior there will be 2 CRG drivers taking part to the race weekend: the Italian Simone Bianco and the Polish Maksymilian Obst.
Finally for what concerns the Mini category, CRG will line-up 3 drivers: the Russian Gerasim Skulanov, the Slovenian Aleksandar Bogunovic and the Italian Mattia Prescianotto.
The weekend program will be the usual one of any other WSK event, with qualifying and the first heats scheduled for Friday, while Saturday will be entirely dedicated to heats. The pre-finals and finals will take place on Sunday. We would like to remember that the best 68 drivers of the qualifying phases will access the 2 pre-finals of each category and the first 17 of each pre-final will make up the starting grid of the finals.
Live timing will be available on the WSK website from Friday morning and live streaming from Sunday morning.
