Hudson Schwartz joins Van Amersfoort Racing for Italian F4 and Euro 4 Championships
Van Amersfoort Racing is excited to announce that 15-year-old Hudson Schwartz will be joining the team for the upcoming rounds of the Italian F4 and Euro 4 Championships!
Despite his young age, Hudson has already made a name for himself in motorsport. He began karting at the age of four, and by 10, he was competing in national races, earning numerous podium finishes and victories, including standout performances at the IAME Grand National and the GoPro Karting Challenge. In 2022, he made a remarkable debut in the Lucas Oil School of Racing Formula Car Championship, grabbing a win at Homestead-Miami Speedway and a podium at Sebring International Raceway. A year later, he dominated and won the series, clinching six wins and a total of 13 podiums in 15 races!
This year, Hudson has been competing in the USF2000 Championship, where he's consistently scored points and secured a third-place podium finish at Portland. Now, the young American driver is ready to take on European circuits for the first time. Hudson will make his European debut at the penultimate round of the Italian F4 Championship in Barcelona this weekend, followed by the final rounds of both the Euro 4 and Italian F4 Championships in Monza.
Hudson Schwartz: "I am super excited to be joining VAR for the last few races of 2024. It is my first time racing in Europe and I am excited to do it with VAR! Really looking forward to getting out on the track and showing what I can do!"
Rob Niessink, CEO Van Amersfoort Racing: "We're excited to have Hudson join our team for the upcoming rounds. He's proven to be an exceptional talent with a strong track record. We believe his energy and determination will be a great fit for the team as he takes on the challenge of competing on European circuits for the first time. We look forward to see him race in Barcelona and Monza."
The penultimate round of the Italian Formula 4 Championship will be held on 27-29 September in Barcelona. The final rounds of the Euro 4 Championship will take place in Monza on 4-6 October and 25-27 October, respectively. The Italian F4 and Euro 4 Championships will broadcast the races live on their YouTube channel.
