GB4 Championship confirms seven event 2024 calendar

The GB4 Championship, partnered by the BRDC, has confirmed a seven-round, 21 race calendar for its 2024 season, running at the country’s premier venues and joining the British GT Championship at all six of its UK events.

The new season will commence at Oulton Park on Easter weekend (30 March – 1 April) before moving on to the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit at the end of the month, sharing the billing with the GB3 Championship at both events.

GB4 then becomes the headline single-seater category at the Donington Park (25/26 May) and Snetterton (13/14 July) events, before recombining with GB3 for a standalone event back on the Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit on 27/28 July.

Events at Donington Park (7/8 September) and the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit (28/29 September) will complete the third campaign of the UK’s most cost-effective junior single-seater category.

GB4 contenders will also have use of numerous official test days throughout the campaign.

MSV Chief Executive Jonathan Palmer said: “GB4 has cemented its place in the UK racing scene this season, with increasing grid numbers and superb racing. With several new teams joining for 2024, it’s clear that GB4 is going to step up another level again next year.

“Our calendar retains the same excellent line-up of challenging British venues that have been a crucial proving ground for F1 stars across the past few decades, and retains our important relationship with SRO’s British GT Championship package, which has been the perfect home for both GB4 and GB3 for many years.”
