GB3 Zandvoort race three starts at 11.05 – Heuzenroeder on pole

The final GB3 Championship race of the weekend at Zandvoort, the full reverse grid contest, is due to commence at 11.05 local time (10.05 UK), with Elite Motorsport’s debutant Patrick Heuzenroeder starting from pole position.

The grid is formed by inverting the qualifying result, with all drivers this weekend lapping within the 103% criteria. That means newcomer Heuzenroeder lines up on pole alongside Hillspeed’s Daniel Mavlyutov, who is aiming for his fourth win of the season.

Heuzeroeder’s fellow newcomer Jack Sherwood (CDR) starts third alongside the second Hillspeed car of Gerrard Xie, with Shawn Rashid fifth on the grid, and serving the remainder of his grid penalty that he carried over into the weekend.

Arden VRD’s Noah Ping will line up in sixth ahead of Rodin Carlin’s Costa Toparis and Fortec’s Edward Pearson, with JHR’s David Morales and CDR’s Arthur Rogeon completing the top-10.

Championship challengers Callum Voisin, Joseph Loake and Alex Dunne head into the contest separated by just four points and start 15th, 21st and 24th respectively.
