Franco Colapinto loses Red Bull Ring victory

The final results of Race 2 of the Formula Regional by Alpine at the Red Bull Ring, which has taken place the past weekend on the circuit of Spielberg, change and see now as the winner the championship leader Grègoire Saucy (ART Grand Prix). After having checked all videos of the track and cameracar of all 33 participants to the race, the Stewards have confirmed that a large number of drivers had not respected the track limits for more times and decided to apply specific penalties. In addition, some more penalties have been applied to two drivers for overtaking under yellow flags.

The final results of Race 2 have so changed with Franco Colapinto (MP Motorsport), among the ones penalized by 10 seconds for not respecting track limits, losing the victory of the race, after a fantastic win in Race 1, and so moving down to final fourth. On the podium with Grègoire Saucy, Gabriel Bortoleto (FA Racing and first of the Rookies) and Zane Maloney (R-ace GP).
