The 16-year-old Roman secured the seventh row of the grid in qualifying, stopping just half a second away from the pole position. In the final race, he finally managed to get back to 13th place with a decidedly competitive race pace and even set the provisional fastest lap of the race during the sixth lap. It was a good fightback from Pizzi and the Van Amersfoort Racing team to reverse the difficulties encountered on Saturday. It also rewards the hard work that both sides have been doing throughout the season. The next round of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine is scheduled for the September 24-26th weekend in Valencia.
