Formula Regional EU by Alpine: Barcelona - Round 2: 34 drivers ready for another weekend with F1

After the fantastic racing in Imola, at the opening Round of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine – certified by FIA, on the Enzo and Dino Ferrari F1 circuit, with the excellent wins by the Spanish David Vidales (Prema Powerteam) and the Swiss Grégoire Saucy (ART Grand Prix), teams and drivers are now already at the Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya, in the occasion of the Formula 1 Aramco Gran Premio De España 2021.

 

Round 2 of the season sees, once more, the new series organized by ACI Sport and Alpine as support event of an F1 Grand Prix. An already rich grid grows even more at Barcelona, with the great news of the recovery of Léna Bühler (R-ace GP) and the new entry of Alessandro Famularo, bringing the total drivers at the start to 34, with the important confirmation also of the second female driver, the Spanish Belèn Garcia (G4 Racing).

Round 02 – BARCELONA – Official Entry List

 

The FIA-certified European series confirms its global reach, with drivers of 18 different nationalities, coming from Europe, Australia, South America and North America. Activity on track will start Friday 7 with 40 minutes Free Practice starting at 9:00 (CEST). After QP, at 12:55 QP1 will take place (15′), while QP2 will start at 16:25. Race 1 will take place on Saturday 8 starting at 13:33 (30′ + 1 lap), while Race 2 will start Sunday 9 at 10:53 (30′ + 1 lap).
