Heert-Jan van Keulen / Friday, June 7, 2019 / Categories: CIKFIA FIA Karting World Championship participants benefit from additional support The FIA will provide support to the OK and OK-Junior competitors of the 2019 FIA Karting World Championship, taking place between 6th and 8th of September in Alahärmä, Finland. In order to maintain the ever-growing number of international entries, the FIA has agreed to grant a financial contribution to the travel of the entrants competing in the two categories. This further reiterates the FIA’s commitment to supporting grassroots motor sport at the base of the pyramid. A total sum of €80,000 will be distributed among participants traveling to the Powerpark Mika Salo Circuit Alahärmä, located 400 km north of Finland’s capital city, Helsinki.
