F4 Spainsh Championship - First race at Motorland postponed

Heavy rain has forced the postponement of the first long race of the weekend at Motorland, which will be held tomorrow, Sunday. The starting order for the second feature race will be determined by the fastest lap of the riders in the short race.

The weekend will therefore undergo some changes with respect to the scheduled timetable. The first long race, scheduled for 19:20 today, will finally be held at 8:30 on Sunday, maintaining the same grid and the same format as today’s race on Saturday.

While the times and distances for the short race and the second long race will remain the same, there will be no second qualifying session. The drivers will line up on the grid for the second feature race of the weekend as follows:

Pole position = fastest lap of race two.
Second position = second fastest lap of race two.
And so on…

Dutch MP driver Dilano Van’t Hoff, who took his fourth consecutive pole position, will share the front row in the first feature race with GRS driver Vladislav Ryabov, who achieved his best result of the season in today’s qualifying.

Likewise, in the short race, it will be Pepe Martí who will start from pole position. The Campos Racing driver set the second fastest lap in the first qualifying session and will start the second race of the weekend alongside Vladislav Ryabov, who will repeat his starting position.

Timetable 1st August:

8:30 first long race
13:05 short race
17:25 second long race
