Bas Kaligis / Tuesday, May 3, 2022 / Categories: DKM, International DEKM takes a break in 2022 after four successful seasons The Corona pandemic has already made life difficult for motorsport for the last two years, now there are additional global circumstances that complicate the current situation. Unfortunately, this is also noticeable in the DEKM. Despite a high level of commitment, the championship does not have an adequate field of participants for this year and is sitting out the coming season. After four successful years with exciting races and a strong international participation, the German Electric Kart Championship (DEKM) will no longer be held in 2022. A few weeks before the planned start of the season, the championship does not register the necessary number of participants to be held successfully. In 2018, the DEKM was held in Germany for the first time and made history as the world's first all-electric kart racing series. Since then, drivers from all over the world have competed and delivered great duels on the race track. All information about the DEKM is still available at www.dekm.de.
