Bas Kaligis / Friday, October 4, 2019 / Categories: International Dante and Maranello Kart leave their mark at the 29th Autumn Trophy in Lonato Massimo Dante and Maranello Kart scored the first win at the 29th Autumn Trophy in the first of the two rounds held on Sunday, September 29th in Lonato. The Italian driver gave his best to claim the victory in the spectacular KZ2 Final on his Maranello-Tm kart run by SG Race. Dante secured a great win after having to concede the pole position by just 0.003s and settling for P2 in the Prefinal. Dante bounced back in style in the final and an amazing overtaking move with two laps to go allowed him to end a comeback race on top. In KZ2, Alessio Vincenzo La Martina has also competed on Maranello Kart and claimed eighth, while Fabrizio Rosati also finished in the top ten. Paolo Rocca was 13th instead. Cristian Griggio secured a great P2 in KZN Over after coming second in the Prefinal and leading the first part of the Final. Marco Tessarolo was forced to an early stop instead. Andrea Caregnato was eighth in KZN Under, Michael Dalle Stelle was 11th due to a penalty following the dropping of the front fairing, Daniele Martini was 22nd and Alberto Magnani did not finish. The second and closing round that will name the winner of the 29th Autumn Trophy will be run next Sunday, October 6th, again in Lonato.
