Bas Kaligis / Tuesday, October 22, 2024 / Categories: Singleseater DAMS Lucas Oil signs Matías Zagazeta for the 2025 Formula 3 season DAMS Lucas Oil is delighted to announce that Matías Zagazeta will compete for the team in the FIA Formula 3 Championship for the 2025 season. This year will mark the Peruvian’s second in the series, with the highlight of his maiden campaign coming at Silverstone back in July, where he secured a Sprint Race podium. Previously, the 21-year-old has competed in Formula Regional European Championship as well as finishing runner-up in the 2021 Formula 4 British Championship, where he took four race victories. The 2025 Formula 3 season kicks off in Melbourne, Australia on March 14-16. The full calendar can be found here. Matías Zagazeta said: “I’m very happy to join a team with such a rich history in motorsport, which has been a leading outfit in Formula 2 for several years. It’s a new environment for everyone in the championship with the updated car, but I hope that my knowledge will help us to achieve great results together.” Charles Pic, Team owner said: “After the testing days in Spain earlier this month we’re thrilled to confirm Matías for the 2025 season.
