CRG to be technical partner of the “Road to Race Academy” talent

A new TV Talent linked to the world of Motorsport and in particular to single-seaters is at the starting line: it is the “Road to Race Academy”, a format created and promoted by Puresport, a leading company in the Racing Experiences, which has a team taking part in the Italian F2000 Formula Trophy Championship, as well as manages around 20 single-seaters including 2 of the latest Formula 1 cars.

The Talent format will be simple: 1000 participants will be admitted through registration on the talent’s official website (www.roadtorace.it) and, subsequently, an authoritative jury, led by former Formula 1 driver Jarno Trulli and Rally Champion Piero Longhi, through three selection steps, will promote the best 20 participants in the final challenge with the Puresport Academy single-seaters. The overall winner will take part in the Italian F2000 Formula Trophy Championship race on October 5-6 on the legendary Monza track. All the Talent will be broadcast on television by Discovery Channel and will include 6 episodes to cover each phase of the selections and the final prize: the Monza race.

CRG has reached an agreement with the promoters of the initiative for the karts supply in two different phases of the selections: a Rental Kart fleet for the first phase called “Blind Skill” scheduled for July, in which over 600 participants will take part and after that for the 3rd phase scheduled for the end of August, when the 10 winners of the single-seater final phase will have to be elected among 50 participants. This final selection will be managed with Racing Karts equipped with high-performance 2-stroke engines.

CRG marketing welcomed this opportunity with enthusiasm, as it guarantees a karting television coverage, which will also include in-depth analysis to better promote our sport, as well as guaranteeing the involvement of a large number of enthusiasts in the selections, who will be able to appreciate the emotions of driving a go-kart on the track. Obviously, the friendship and mutual respect with Jarno Trulli and the professionalism of the Puresport staff are also a guarantee of success for an initiative which aims to confirm itself in the next few years, but above all to spread these TV products in many foreign countries in addition to Italy.
