Heert-Jan van Keulen / Monday, November 16, 2020 / Categories: International Covid cluster impact on karting in South Australian SA Kart Championship cancelled Following the announcement of new COVID Restrictions by South Australian Premier Steven Marshall on Monday afternoon in response to the Parafield Gardens COVID-19 cluster, the SA Kart Championship scheduled for this weekend has been cancelled. All community sport cancelled The Premier announced ‘that all Community sport is temporarily cancelled, for both indoor and outdoor sports, contact and non contact.’ The time frame for the cancellation of sport in South Australia will be for at least the next two (2) weeks. As a result, all competition and social karting activities at Karting Australia licenced venues in the State will cease as of 11:59pm this evening until further notice. Competitors who have entered the SA Kart Championship will receive a full refund in the coming days.
