All set in La Conca for the third round of WSK Super Master Series on March 8th

The long and intense testing ahead of the third round of WSK Super Master Series that will take place from March 5th to 8th, 2020 is underway during this weekend of March 1st at the World Circuit La Conca in Muro Leccese. All the main constructors and strongest teams are already present fielding the most important drivers of this international series in OK, OK-Junior and Mini.

In the two rounds already ran – in Adria and Lonato – before the third meeting of the championship that will take place in La Conca, WSK Super Master Series scored record numbers. A total of 231 drivers coming from 40 countries were present in Adria on February 2nd, while Lonato set a new record on February 23rd with 362 drivers from 47 different countries. These figures highlight quite clearly the importance of this International Karting series in the 15th year of activity of the promoter WSK Promotion. This series raised the bar not only in terms of sporting content but also in terms of socio-economic importance of  WSK events that visit the whole Italian peninsula.

Chasing Turney in OK.

A lot of strong drivers are ready to challenge each other in OK at La Conca. The provisional classification leader from Great Britain Joe Turney (Tony Kart-Vortex-Bridgestone/Tony Kart Racing Team) will have to face the Spanish teammate  Pedro Hiltbrand, who won in Adria, and the rising star Andrea Kimi Antonelli (KR-Iame/KR Motorsport). The strong works driver to Tony Kart, Lorenzo Travisanutto, is called to bounce back as he has been quite unlucky so far, but has what it takes to shine and will try to get the most of the increasing points scoring system in the third round.

Lindblad challenged by Spina and Badoer in OK-Junior.

In OK-Junior the Brit Arvid Lindblad (KR-Iame-Vega/KR Motorsport) is on top of the classification after the first two races and is followed by his young teammate Alfio Andrea Spina, who won in Adria. Much awaited is also  Brando Badoer, who is becoming a strong interpreter of this category and claimed his maiden podium of WSK Super Master Series in Lonato. The KR Motorsport’s driver from Czech Republic Igor Cepil and the two Poles Tymoteusz Kucharczyk (RK-TM Racing/Birel Art Racing) and Karol Pasiewicz (Tony Kart-Vortex/Tony Kart Racing Team) will try and keep their great momentum in La Conca.

A lot of rivals for Skulanov in Mini.

The young Russian Gerasim Skulanov (IPK-TM Racing-Vega/Formula K) claimed the two wins in Mini at Adria and Lonato, but a lot of rivals are ready to challenge his lead. A total of 108 drivers got on track in Lonato. Among these the two strong Russians Dmitry Matveev (Energy-TM Racing/Energy Corse) and Anatoly Khavalkin (Parolin-TM Racing/Parolin Racing Team), United Arab Emirates’ Rashid Al Dhaheri (Parolin-TM Racing/Parolin Racing) and several more have what it takes to shine.
