A total of 280 drivers entered the WSK Final Cup of Adria

A record number of entered drivers, 280, joined the WSK Final Cup of Adria that is scheduled for November 19th-21st in the four categories MINI, OKJ, OK and KZ2. The event closes the international karting 2021 season. These figures are particularly positive and reward once again the efforts for the organization and management of the karting programme by WSK Promotion. 

MINI with 127 new karting protagonists.
The future of karting is quite interesting as witnessed by the big numbers of MINI Gr.3. In Adria, this category reserved to the youngsters that are the future of the discipline counts 127 entered drivers. Today, they will take part in MINI Gr.3, but tomorrow we might see these drivers competing in higher categories, and in a few years time on single seaters to complete the professional path started with WSK races. No doubt about that, the future champions get birth here.

72 drivers in OKJ from 32 countries.
The numbers of OK-Junior are quite important too. A total of 72 drivers will challenge each other and continue the growth started with MINI. Several drivers decided to start their experience in this higher category at the end of the season in order to reach season 2022 with some experience. The vast majority of the karting drivers comes from outside of Italy, specifically from 32 countries, which confirms WSK races as the benchmark for international karting events.

The excellence of karting in OK that counts 42 drivers.
Category OK is ‘the’ professional category, the most powerful direct drive class. The switch to motorsport mainly happens here and in this category several talents emerged before climbing up the motorsport ladder. OK in Adria will count 42 drivers that represent a good part of the international karting nowadays excellence.   

In KZ2, the 38 entered drivers include big names and emerging talents. 
The shifter category KZ2 is the most powerful of all and in Adria it will count a total of 38 drivers in a packed and very competitive starting grid featuring again a lot of foreign drivers. In Adria several big names and a lot of emerging youngsters will challenge each other in an exciting race. This shifter category is the most spectacular and exciting expression of karting and it is a mandatory step before switching to single seater competitions.

Prefinals and Finals will be available through the Live Streaming coverage on Sunday, November 21st. Prefinals will be at local 10:50 and Finals will follow at 14:20.
