On occasion of the Deutsche Kart Meisterschaft, Leonardo Marseglia takes home a double podium after an amazing comeback. Leonardo Marseglia continues his amazing period: after the win in Sarno in the Italian Championship, the BirelART driver leaves a mark also in the Deutsche Kart Meisterschaft getting away from Kerpen with a 3rd in Race 1 and a 2nd in Race 2.

The participants of the German Electric Kart Championship had to wait nine weeks fore the next races. Last weekend (July 12th – 14th), the next event took place in Kerpen and numerous spectators got to see thrilling kart racing on the Erftlandring. The interntional field of participants fought thrilling duels. Guest driver and DTM driver Ferdinand Habsburg stood on the third place of the podium on Sunday.

Round Four of the Superkarts! USA flagship regional program contested at Monterey Bay Karters home track

The California ProKart Challenge began the second half of the 2019 championship season, hosting Round Four at the Marina Airport Kart Track on July 13-14. The Superkarts! USA regional program took to the home of the Monterey Bay Karters for the two-day event, with practice and qualifying held Saturday, Prefinal and Final held on Sunday. The weather was unseasonably colder, with strong winds dropping the temperature, making the July weekend feel like a winter trip along the Pacific Ocean. The racing was not affected, however, as a number of drivers added to their win totals to help their title chase hopes.

After dominating the highly competitive field in the OK senior category from the beginning of the weekend at the third edition of the international German Kart Championship, Dutch driver Kas Haverkort set himself up to regain the lead in the 2019 series when he secured pole position and won both qualifying heats Saturday, to be starting on pole in Sunday’s first final. Taking P2 for a podium place was enough points to move him up to second in the standings, but a forced retirement in Race 2 ended his chance to reclaim the championship lead at the halfway mark.
