Three weeks after a thrilling racing weekend in Kerpen, the German Electric Kart Championship is going to continue in Belgian Genk from 2^nd to 4^th of August. There, the drivers from seven nations are going to start into the second half of the season of the first Electric Kart Championship in the world.

The IAME Euro Series heads to the ProKart Raceland venue at Wackersdorf in Germany, in the heart of the Bavarian countryside. As one of the largest circuits in the country, it’s always a pleasure to return to Stephan Fritsch’s amazing facility and its exemplary staff. The 1222 metre long circuit has recently been resurfaced which adds to the spectacle and challenge of such an intense venue, and with 8 right handers and 6 lefts with a complex combination of fast sweeping apexes, tight hairpins and varied elevation changes over the lap keep the teams and drivers guessing throughout the weekend. Add to that an uncompromising weather system that can spring a few surprises over a weekend, a win here is more than just a trophy – it can teach drivers the lessons they need to become the world’s best racers.

A 14-year-old Brazilian, Rafael Câmara has a passion for racing. He is currently competing at the highest level of world karting in FIA Karting competitions. After early beginnings in his native country, he moved to Europe to make progress alongside the top drivers. He is preparing to move into the top category of karting next year before thinking about his future in motorsport.

Selected by tender to supply tyres to the drivers in the OK category of the 2019 FIA ​​Karting European Championship, the manufacturer LeCont perfectly fulfilled the mission that the CIK-FIA entrusted them with.
