As one of the largest circuits in the country, it’s always a pleasure to return to Stephan Fritsch’s amazing facility and its exemplary staff. The 1222 metre long circuit has recently been resurfaced which adds to the spectacle and challenge of such an intense venue, and with 8 right handers and 6 lefts with a complex combination of fast sweeping apexes, tight hairpins and varied elevation changes over the lap keep the teams and drivers guessing throughout the weekend. Add to that an uncompromising weather system that can spring a few surprises over a weekend, a win here is more than just a trophy – it can teach drivers the lessons they need to become the world’s best racers.
