A bitter third round of the FIA Karting OK European Championship in Sweden for Alex Irlando, pushed out of the race at the first corner. Sometimes it happens, it’s racing: Alex Irlando goes through a tough weekend at the Kristianstad Karting Klubb in Sweden. It starts with qualifying: 42nd because of a low performing set of tyres that changes the feeling with the kart.

Gabriel Minì took full advantage of his excellent Parolin / TM Racing equipment to stay at the front of the OK category during the whole weekend of Kristianstad during the third round of the European Championship. Fast and combative, he achieved his best performance of the European season and consolidated his position in the top three of the Championship.

From May 31 to June 2, the waiting was finally over: The Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy 2019 kicked off its second year. In April, the series had already given an impressive foretaste of the season with a successful Open race format at Genk, Belgium. Now, round one officially opened the championship in Italy. Therefore, the choice fell on the ultra-modern track of the Adria Karting Raceway not far from Venice

Already 3rd in the World Championship in OK in 2018 at the Kristianstad circuit, Luigi Coluccio and the Birel ART team have returned to the podium at the Swedish Kart Grand Prix, thanks to determination and great competitiveness. The Italian completed a magnificent attacking race to return to 3rd position after his start from 6th and took the opportunity to return to the top of the provisional ranking of the European Championship. There was also much satisfaction from the other drivers in the team.

To finish the Swedish Kart Grand Prix in style, the last races proved to be very interesting in the Kristianstad sun. The third Competition of the FIA Karting European Championship - OK & Junior slightly changed the positions and scores of the provisional rankings. The last meeting of the season, in more than a month and a half at Le Mans (FRA), promises to be exciting for the awarding of the titles.
