The first Competition of the FIA ​​Karting European Championship - OK & Junior has benefited from dry and hot weather in Angerville. The performances were very close between the contenders and the victory rewarded the most consistent at the front of the Competition. In the end, Tuuka Taponen (FIN) won the Junior Grand Prix and Dexter Patterson (GBR) won an exemplary OK race.

The Gabriel Thirouin Circuit of Angerville was chosen to host the French Karting Grand Prix, the first competition of the year for the 2019 FIA Karting European Championships - OK and OK-Junior which will take place from 19th to 21st April 2019. Near Paris, the Angerville track hosts an international race after having hosted the famous 2006 World Championship for Formula A and the U18 World Championship in 2012. Its 1198 m long recently re-homologated circuit has undergone slight adjustments to follow the evolution of standards, but still has its special character, both technical and selective.
