For the first time in history, a French Handikart champion joins the elite of world karting

We interviewed prominent members of the French and international federations and the karting community: it seems that no disabled driver has, to date, participated in an official event counting for an FIA European Karting Championship. Maxime Léger, the driver of Tours region’s local karting club, ASK Val de Loire, three times FFSA French Handikart champion, will be the first to take up the challenge of competing against the best drivers in the world on the Aunay-les-Bois circuit near Alençon from May 28 to 30.

From karting to cars! Jessica Bäckman is the Citizen of the year in Boden 2020

On February 22nd, the Näringslivsgalan (a business gala) was held in Boden with the purpose of honouring the city's empowerment. Several awards were announced, including Citizen of the Year in Boden, where racing driver Jessica Bäckman has been selected as the winner. “2019 is a year I will never forget and to be able to celebrate my successes with this award feels great”, Jessica says.
