At the foot of the Vesuvius volcano, the Circuito Internazionale Napoli in Sarno is a great venue for kart racing which has been regularly included in the FIA Karting Competition calendar for many years. A former top-level kart driver, Joakim Ward has diversified his activities since the creation of his company in 1991. In particular, he manages the import and distribution of several brands in Sweden and neighbouring countries and has developed his own range of rental karts.

Motorsport UK has announced that in anticipation of motorsport restarting in the UK from 4th July, it is inviting online permit applications from 1st June 2020. Motorsport is currently suspended throughout the UK until 30th June 2020. Following ongoing positive dialogue with the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and having set out its strategy and anticipated conditions for restarting motorsport disciplines, the governing body is now moving to its next phase of getting the sport back on track. Further details will be communicated following the next Motorsport UK Board meeting of 3rd June.

For some drivers, it is very difficult to keep their patience as we can see in the following video! Already at the exit of the pitlane, there is a huge pile-up! Even before the kart drivers left the pitlane for some track action, they collided. The karts stack on top of each other!
