The Coronavirus emergency stopped production, sporting events and everything that could help the virus spread, motorsport from F1 to Karting has made no exception. All FIA Karting and National Championship have been postponed to a later date and a lot of factories in this sector have shut down.

Looking to better streamline their program and provide ease of use for their customer, the World Karting Association (WKA) is pleased to confirm the launch of their new website. As the promoter of several series including the Speedway Dirt Series, Florida Winter Cup, Manufacturers Cup, Road Racing Series and E-Kart (electric) Series, WKA is excited to announce the launch of their new multi-series website, WorldKarting.com

Due to the fact that the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) has postponed two major events on its calendar, it will no longer organise the FIA Karting World Championship - KZ, the FIA Karting International Super Cup – KZ2, the third Competition of the FIA Karting Academy Trophy and the FIA Karting Historic Super Cup initially scheduled to take place in Le Mans (FRA) from 10th to 13th September 2020. The World Championship will now be held in Lonato.
