Four weeks after the kick-off of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy in Belgium, the European Rotax racers headed for Germany where the second round of the season was held from September 4th to 6th, 2020. Venue was the Prokart Raceland in Wackersdorf which equally hosted the halfway event of the elite RMC racing format. Although the Micro and Mini MAX categories were not part of program this time, over 100 drivers from more than 20 nations entered the second meeting of the year, providing the opening round winners and overall leaders a competitive mid-season event.

At the second round of the European Championship at Genk, Birel ART increased its domination of the international KZ and KZ2 categories by winning two titles in one go despite very tight competition. The double win by Marijn Kremers and Alessandro Irlando in KZ was indicative of the current dynamism of Birel ART, as well as that of Viktor Gustavsson and Simone Cunati in KZ2.

Mission accomplished for Team Leclerc By Lennox Racing, crowned European Champions in Genk in the KZ2 class thanks to Viktor Gustavsson and adding a first title to their palmares. An emphatic victory, which on the one hand proves the quality of the CL Karting by Birel ART chassis equipped with TM Racing engines once and for all and which, on the other hand, handsomely rewards such a young team for their hard and incessant work since early season.
