After first relaxations in the past days and openings of the kart tracks, the DEKM now presents a new racing calendar for the 2020 season. Still five races are planned between July and October

New karting track in Italy: Franciacorta karting track

This brand new outdoor karting track located in the northern part of Italy, more precisely in Castrezzato, will open soon. The new karting track is situated 10 km from Brescia. The international-level kart track measuring 1,300 meters. The new track will be ready soon for track action and for the international karting teams. “We prefer to be focused on free practice and races”, said Raffaella Giacomini form the Franciacorta kart track to KartXpress.com.

On the heels of the open letter from SKUSA principal Tom Kutscher, Superkarts! USA is pleased to announce yet another small piece of a complicated 2020 puzzle by announcing the next chapter in series officiating with not one, but two new race directors for the 2020 SKUSA ProTour and SKUSA SuperNationals. Effectively immediately, SKUSA is tremendously proud to confirm they have procured none other than veteran race directors Beaux Barfield and John Maesky. Both Barfield and Maesky have stellar resumes and long histories in motorsports, in addition to their current roles at the International Motor Sports Association — where the duo has worked together as a team for the better part of a decade.
