Less than a month to go and Formula One is getting back in action. Ahead of that restart several F1 drivers choose to train in the sport where it al started: karting. IAME Belgium posted these pictures below of George Russell, Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz training to get in shape before the F1 restart. A former KZ driver, Sandro Lorandi created the Babyrace team to support his sons Alessio and Leonardo in their debut in kart racing. With the good results, the team quickly grew to become one of the most successful at international level. Alessio won the first CIK-FIA KF-Junior World Championship in 2013 in Bahrain. Despite the transition of his two sons to single-seater racing, Sandro Lorandi continues to satisfy his passion for motor sport by training young drivers for high-level competition at the Babyrace Driver Academy. At the beginning of June 2020, he takes stock of the upcoming resumption of competition as the COVID-19 situation improves day by day.

The Motorsport activity in Italy is about to resume. The third and fourth rounds of WSK Super Master Series are due to get underway from June 29th to July 5th in Adria. Entry lists of WSK Euro Series open on Sunday, June 21st at www.wsk.it.   

Beitske Visser strikes twice again: "Hopefully I can keep winning, that’s the aim”

Beitske Visser extended her lead at the top of the W Series Esports League by winning two of the three races in round two at Circuit of the Americas, Austin, Texas, USA. Just as she did a week ago at Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, Italy, the 25-year-old Dutch driver won races one and three at COTA. In between those victories, Beitske came from last to sixth in the reverse-grid race which, in another repeat of round one, was won by Finland’s Emma Kimiläinen, 30.
