The European OK and OK-Junior battle will continue in France. Known for its technical characteristics and its gradient, the international circuit of Aunay-les-Bois / Essay will offer a different setting to Genk. If the weather remains as favorable as the forecasts predict, the competition should allow the Drivers unlucky in Belgium to climb back up the Championship rankings. Unlike the previous event in Belgium, the twenty Qualifying Heats of the second round of the 2021 FIA Karting European Championship - OK and Junior were not disrupted by rain, even though there was a threat not far from the international circuit of Aunay-les-Bois. British Junior Freddie Slater had a perfect run as did Italian Andrea Kimi Antonelli in OK. They are the two favourites before the final heats on Sunday morning.

The standings of Race 1 in Paul Ricard change due to the disqualification of Grégoire Saucy due to his car not being compliant with the technical regulations; a sad situation after the great driving by the Swiss driver of ART Grand Prix. The final standings see all driver behind Saucy move up one position, so the winner is Hadrien David (R-ace GP), followed by Mikhael Belov (JD Motorsport, and Gabriele Minì (ART Grand Prix)
