The Prokart Raceland in Wackersdorf (Germany) was the venue for the big season finale of the 2021 Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy from September 3rd to 5th, 2021. After stops at Genk (BEL), Adria (ITA) and Mülsen (GER), the European RMC elite fought for the last championship points of the year in the region of Bavaria. More than 100 drivers in the categories of Junior MAX, Senior, MAX, Rotax DD2, DD2 Masters as well as the Rotax Project E20 Tour, which was part of the supporting program, attended the event. Racing conditions could not have been better as the weather made for a sunny and hot weekend.

Difficult weekend in Sweden, but good performances from the Birel ART chassis

Whether in the official Birel ART Racing Team or in the Leclerc by Lennox Racing Team, the Birel ART chassis confirmed their excellent competitiveness in Kristianstad. In spite of the extraordinary circumstances that forced several top drivers out of the race, Viktor Gustafsson was able to reach 4th place in the KZ World Championship, while Alessio Piccini crossed the finish line of the KZ2 International Super Cup in 5th position.

Great speed but little luck in Sweden for Leclerc by Lennox Racing

The team proved to be extremely competitive on the Kristianstad circuit at the FIA Karting World Championship KZ and the FIA Karting International Super Cup KZ2, but certain episodes affected the final results. After successfully completing the European championship of shifter classes, the Leclerc by Lennox Racing team presented itself at the most important event of the season with all the necessary requirements to be an absolute protagonist. In fact, the CL chassis produced by Birel ART and powered by TM Racing confirmed their value in both classes competing, KZ and KZ2.

Sodikart confirms at world level with Vice-Championship

Already on the podium of the European KZ2 Championship in 2021, the Sodikart chassis has just followed up with another Vice-Championship title, this time at world level. Perfectly supported by the CPB Sport team, Senna Van Walstijn achieved a great performance, moving up from 11th to 2nd place in the FIA Karting International Super Cup at Kristianstad. The Dutchman took pole position and set the lap record in the Final, and came very close to victory in Sweden.
