It was a tricky run for PREMA Powerteam at Spa-Francorchamps, home to the sixth round of the 2021 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine. The team put up a good pace in qualifying and in the two drama-filled races, going back to the podium with a rookie win by Dino Beganovic.

Racing at the classic Italian venue, the team faced a series of incidents and mishaps in the three races. Sebastian Montoya had his share of racing misfortunes with a mechanical issue in race 1 and P8 in race 2. The Colombian-American managed to harvest some points with a positive fourth place in the final race.

After a 2020 campaign in OK-Junior full of promise, Arthur Rogeon aged only fourteen-and-a half set himself one hell of a challenge by choosing to pursue his career this season in the FIA Karting international hotbed of talent, the OK category, with the best world hopes. The European Championship has just finished on the Zuera circuit in Spain and the ASK Laval club member used this opportunity to showcase his talent on several occasions and make people sit up and take notice thanks to his incontestable speed on the track.

Monolite Racing captured its first points of the season in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine with a great performance in the second race at Spa-Francorchamps. The team headed by Rudi Mariotto had already inched closer to the overall top-10 on several occasions with Pietro Delli Guanti, who has been impressing in the championship's rookie ranking so far. In Belgium, the Italian was unlucky, facing traffic in Q1 and then being involved in an unavoidable crash in race 2.

Jesse Carrasquedo - Valuable experience gained in the European Championship

The first half of Jesse Carrasquedo's 2021 racing season was marked by active participation in the major events of the OK category, which represents the highest international level in karting for motorsport hopefuls. In total, the 14-year-old Mexican raced in 12 events and was frequently in the spotlight. His progress was steady and he was able to gain a lot of experience, as was the case during the FIA Karting European Championship which ended in Spain on the Zuera circuit.
