The 10th Edition of the IAME International World Finals, this weekend, at the Adria Karting Raceway

After a year of stop due to the Covid-19 pandemic that forced the 2020 edition to be skipped, the great IAME world Karting event is back. This year the important meeting lands in Italy, for the 10th edition, at the Adria Karting Raceway, from 18 to 23 October, with once again numerous participation, despite the fact that the pandemic has not yet been eradicated. There are about 300 drivers present together with the major international Karting teams, 29 nations represented in an exceptional comparison between the best drivers of the IAME national series in the X30 Mini, X30 Junior, X30 Senior, X30 Master and Z-I categories.

An exciting FIA Karting World Championship to be held in Spain

Located between Granada and Seville, the Campillos circuit was chosen as the setting for the 2021 FIA Karting World Championship - OK & Junior partly because of its very southern location in Europe. Further south than La Conca (ITA), less open to oceanic influences than Portimão (PRT), it should be able to offer good weather conditions from 28th to 31st October for the big end-of-season event.

O’Sullivan completes crowning weekend with another victory

Zak O’Sullivan stormed to his second win of the weekend at Donington Park, as the new champion completed his GB3 Championship in association with the BRDC campaign with great panache. Victory in race two was his seventh of the year, while Fortec’s Mikkel Grundtvig claimed his second triumph of 2021 in the final race of the season this afternoon. Carlin was also crowned as the inaugural Teams’ Champion, while the end of year prizes was handed out after the end of the event. 

O’Sullivan claims GB3 Championship title in style at Donington Park

Carlin’s Zak O’Sullivan claimed the 2021 GB3 in association with the BRDC Championship title in fine style at Donington Park last Saturday. The 16-year-old broke the qualifying lap record this morning to take his fifth pole position of the year, and then claimed a lights to flag victory in the first race of the weekend to put the title beyond all doubt.
