The third of the four events in the FIA Karting European Championships - OK and OK-Junior, Sweden will be an important stage in the conquest of the titles from 2nd to 5th June 2022. The lead taken in Kristianstad will ensure a clear advantage as only the three best results (after the Super Heats and Final) are taken into account for the ranking. Sweden is also enjoyed for the quality of its welcome and its organisation.

The California ProKart Challenge completed the second round of the 2022 season over the May 14-15 weekend at the Buttonwillow Raceway Park. It was the second straight event at the central California facility, with the opening event contested there in April. This time it would be in the clockwise direction around the 7/10-mile circuit. Another chunk of the $70,000 prize package for this season was awarded following the two days of action at Buttonwillow – with all but two drivers earning their first wins of the series this year.

Voisin claims first single-seater win in dramatic opening Donington contest

Carlin’s Callum Voisin claimed a maiden single-seater victory in the opening GB3 Championship race of the weekend at Donington Park, after a wild opening lap in the East Midlands.
Voisin started third but a collision between the front row duo of Joel Granfors and Matthew Rees allowed Voisin and teammate Roberto Faria to squeeze through to take a 1-2 finish, while Douglas Motorsport’s Max Esterson stood on a GB3 podium for the first time. 

Taylor triumphs at Donington to steal championship lead

Fortec Motorsport’s Nikolas Taylor claimed a fourth win of the season in the first GB4 Championship race of the weekend at Donington Park, to steal the championship lead. Taylor won the race from pole position and resisted late pressure to take a four-point margin at the top of the standings heading into tomorrow’s two contests.
