Each in its own way, the two Finals in Franciacorta offered a breathtaking spectacle. However, neither winner became champion. Jan Przyrowski (POL) won in OK-Junior after epic battles full of twists and turns while Alex Powell (JAM) won in OK. It was Anatholy Khavalkin who became FIA Karting European Champion - OK-Junior and Kean Nakamura-Berta (GBR) who won the FIA Karting European Championship - OK after a stroke of fate.

Franciacorta will conclude Round 4 of the FIA Karting European Championship - OK and OK-Junior on its first appearance on the calendar. The battle for the titles remains open in both categories, especially as only the three best results at the end of the Super Heats and the Finals of the four events are counted.

A lot happened on the Italian circuit of Franciacorta during the thirty Qualifying Heats of the FIA Karting European OK and OK-Junior Championships. Attacks and overtaking were as numerous as the disappointments. Two drivers from the same team took the lead on Saturday evening. The faultless run of poleman Enzo Deligny (FRA) in OK echoed the rise of Anatholy Khavalkin to the top of the OK-Junior class.
