Matheus Morgatto and Enzo Tarnvanichkul have just made FIA Karting history. It had been 24 years since a Brazilian had won a World Championship and Morgatto deserved his title in OK after a perfect run. On the Italian circuit of Sarno, in the sun, Tarnvanichkul became the first ever Thai World Champion.

The 7th entry list for the Mondokart.com FIA Karting World Championship - OK & OK-Junior in Sarno is back to the highest levels that were recorded in 2018. More than 200 drivers from 49 nations are registered for this world event, which will take place in Italy from 15th to 18th September to close a brilliant 2022 season. The attractiveness of the Circuito Internazionale Napoli has not waned over time and the current version of the Sarno track, 1550 m long, is very challenging.

With the return of the sun and milder weather conditions compared to Qualifying Practice, the 199 drivers entered in the Mondokart.com FIA Karting World Championship - OK and OK-Junior produced a magnificent show throughout the 43 Qualifying Heats. In each category, 72 drivers won their ticket for the Super Heats on Sunday morning, which will precede the long awaited Finals! Matheus Morgatto (BRA) in OK and Enzo Tarnvanichkul (THA) in OK-Junior are provisionally in first place, but the event is far from over.
