On an emotional day at Brands Hatch, KMR Sport’s Tom Mills was crowned as the new GB4 champion, after taking his tenth victory of the season in race two, and then a controlled drive to seventh to wrap up the crown in the final encounter of the weekend.

But that was nothing compared to the afternoon's Finals, which produced a breathtaking spectacle with many unexpected twists and turns. At the end of a memorable FIA Karting competition, Italy's Paolo Ippolito was crowned KZ World Champion, Germany's Niels Tröger won the KZ2 World Cup and Italy's Davide Forè added the FIA Karting International Super Cup - KZ2 Masters to his impressive list of honours.

Alessandro Giusti, the French driver from G4 Racing, gave himself a birthday present in the second race at the Red Bull Ring. Starting from pole position, he secured his second win of the season, celebrating from the top step of the podium on his 17th birthday.

The second qualifying session of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine brought the challenge to the track Sunday morning at the Red Bull Ring. The drivers entered the track in two groups, in reverse order compared to Saturday’s qualifying. The pole position for Race 2 was claimed by French driver Alessandro Giusti from G4 Racing. This marks Giusti’s second pole in the series, following his first victory at Paul Ricard before the summer break. Yesterday was already a favorable day for the driver, as he topped his group and finished Race 1 on the podium. With an excellent performance in qualifying, the Frenchman has created a perfect opportunity to add to his victories in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine.
