The Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine has officially fired up its engines for the start of the 2024 season, which, as per tradition, kicks off at the Barcelona circuit, where today the first preseason collective test took place.

We are thrilled to announce that Brando Badoer will be continuing his journey with Van Amersfoort Racing for the upcoming 2024 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine. After a successful year in the prestigious Italian F4 Championship, Brando is making the leap to the competitive FRECA series.

After making his single-seater debut in Spain last year, Lin Hodenius is now ready for the next chapter in his racing career. This season, he joins Van Amersfoort Racing for the 2024 F4 European campaign. The season comprises three European races along with seven races in the prestigious Italian Formula 4 Championship.

KMR Sport’s Brandon McCaughan and Fortec’s Linus Granfors were victorious on Monday at Oulton Park, as McCaughan’s teammate Harry Burgoyne completed a podium clean sweep in Cheshire to leave the event as the early championship leader. 

JHR Developments’ John Bennett and Hitech Pulse-Eight’s Will Macintyre made it a clean sweep of new winners in the GB3 Championship season opener at Oulton Park, after both triumphed on Monday.
