Frankfurt am Main. Next weekend, the new season of the German Kart Championship is going to start on the South Garda Circuit in Lonato (Italy). The four grade series are heavily filled up with 180 participants and make for a record. The races are going to be accompanied again by an extensive live-stream and a DKM magazine on MOTORVISION TV.

The Italian Kart Grand Prix will launch the FIA Karting European Championship, for the OK and OK-Junior categories from April 20th to 22nd at the Sarno circuit and will be a long-awaited rendezvous for RGMMC Group's debut as CIK-FIA Competitions Promoter. The event is already looking promising with an entry higher than last year and constant confrontation is expected between the established stars and young hopefuls of the discipline.

The 2018 WSK Super Master Series has just ended at the fast circuit of Sarno with a very positive result for the Sodi Racing Team. Alex Irlando made the colours of the French team shine at the highest international level by climbing to 2nd place in the KZ2 category. With four Sodi ranked in the top 10 of the Championship, the French brand confirms its ambitions before the start of the CIK-FIA European Championship.

WSK Super Master 2018: Parolin triumphs in OK-Junior and in 60 Mini

At the Sarno circuit, the last event of the WSK Super Master reaped a harvest of success for the Parolin Racing Kart team. The victorious double in the 60 Mini Final was accompanied by a double in the Championship, won by Martinius Stenshorne, while Gabriele Mini won in the OK-Junior ranking.

Already winner in his last race of 2017 in Spain, Alex Irlando has continued his winning streak for the opening of the international season. The Italian champion is the leader of KZ2 in the WSK Super Master Series after brilliantly winning the Adria Final. He is closely followed by the French hopeful Adrien Renaudin from the CPB Sport team. Sodi has started the development of its OK equipment in a very encouraging first run.
