The third season for the new direct drive kart categories confirms the accuracy of their technical formula with a steady increase in entries since their introduction in 2016. This year, the FIA ​​Karting World Championships - OK and Junior exceed the 200 entries for the Competition that will take place in Sweden, at Kristianstad from 20th to 23rd September 2018.

Thanks to Patrik Hajek and Matteo Viganò, Vortex RKZ engines lead the scene on the Belgian circuit in Genk, conquering the two most prestigious Titles of the shifter classes: the FIA Karting World KZ Championship and the International KZ2 Super Cup.

It has been a spectacular Sunday for Baby Race in the Italian ROK Championship at Adria. The team led by Sandro Lorandi secured an authoritative win in Junior Rok thanks to an ever-convincing Paolo Ferrari. The young Italian was the star of the weekend and performed without a hitch at the key moment, showing great maturity as well as speed skills.

The Kosmic Racing Department repeats the world success obtained in 2015 in the “Senior” category for direct-drive karts.
