Today the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine series has started living the dream of the Formula 1 Grand Prix De Monaco, with the only Free Practice of the weekend starting at 8.30 (CET) for 50 minutes as the first overall session of the day.

After practice, Friday’s qualifying took a challenging turn, the drivers were divided into two groups, with only the top 12 of each group eligible to take the start in both races. Franco and MP Motorsport did a fantastic job to set the fourth fastest lap overall.

In the early morning qualifying sessions in Monaco, it is Zane Maloney (R-ace GP) to obtain the best overall time with 1:28.893), an amazing lap time also helped by a track that has been evidently constantly improving, helping Group B drivers whose session was after Group A. Great job also by his teammate and Rookie, Isack Hadjar, with 1:29.727, the fastest of the first Group. The French driver will start in pole position tomorrow in Race 1, while the Brazilian will be on pole in Race 2 on Sunday.
