Bas Kaligis / Monday, November 28, 2022 / Categories: International WKA Announces 2023 Vega Tires National Road Race Series Schedule “Six-race schedule at some of North America’s most premier Road Racing facilities” The much-anticipated World Karting Association (WKA) Vega Tires National Road Race Series schedule is here. After weeks of waiting, series officials are pleased to confirm a solid six-weekend race schedule that will kick off next month at the famed Daytona International Speedway during WKA KartWeek. "The planning team at WKA went to great efforts to bring back a true National Race Series program, and visiting tracks that WKA hasn't been in a while was one way to spice up the 2023 schedule,” expressed WKA President Kevin Williams. “We are excited to get the year started with Daytona KartWeek, while offering races in both the North and South. It's going to be an exciting year." The newly structured Vega Tires National Road Race schedule has been built to reestablish a true national road racing program for WKA members across some of North America's road racing premier facilities. WKA has worked hard to renew its longstanding partnership with the Southern Country Kart Club at the newly repaved Roebling Road course which will be the home of the second event over the March 3-5 weekend. With New Jersey Motorsports Park and Carolina Motorsports Park absent from the national schedule for several seasons, Road Racing teams and competitors will return to these facilities for event weekends three and five in late March and September. Additionally, the Carolina Motorsports Park event will not only feature the Vega Tires National Road Race Series, but also the WKA Gold Cup program on their freshly repaved circuit. Along with Daytona, Roebling Road, Carolina Motorsports Park, and New Jersey Motorsports Park, Vega Tires National Road Race competitors will also visit the famed Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and the ultra-competitive Pittsburgh International Race Complex. 2023 Vega Tires National Road Race Schedule Daytona International Speedway: December 28-30 Roebling Road: March 3-5 New Jersey Motorsports Park: March 31-April 2 Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course: June 16-18 Carolina Motorsports Park: September 1-3 Pittsburgh International Race Complex: September 22-24 Daytona KartWeek Quick Links Registration – Click HERE Event Info – Click HERE Event Running Order – Click HERE Travel Promotions – Click HERE For more information on the World Karting Association, please contact Mike Tetreault at Mike@worldkarting.com or by phone to 609.326.3741.
