Bas Kaligis / Monday, January 16, 2023 / Categories: Singleseater 2023 GB4 champion to receive £50,000 prize towards future single-seater campaign The winner of the 2023 GB4 Championship will again be rewarded with a £50,000 contribution towards their 2024 single-seater racing programme. The biggest fund available in UK junior single-seater racing, the £50,000 can be put towards a campaign in either GB3 or British Formula 4 for the following season, and will be paid to the team that the driver contracts with as part of their career progression towards hopefully F1. With cash prizes available again for pole positions through the Jack Cavill Pole Position Cup and a £20,000 shoot-out for teenage Formula Ford drivers, the continuation of the £50,000 prize for this year’s champion ensures GB4’s prize structure remains the standout offering at this level. Full terms for the award of prizes are set out in the Sporting Regulations. MotorSport Vision Chief Executive Jonathan Palmer said: “The GB4 Championship offers the most cost-effective entry point to contemporary slicks and wings racing in the UK, and we are totally committed to rewarding the best talent to help them to move up the ladder in pursuit of their F1 dreams. A cash injection of £50,000 will be of huge value to the 2023 champion and I have no doubt the competitiveness of GB4 will mean the winner will fully justify this substantial financial support as they aim to learn, develop and prove themselves at the next level.” For more championship information, visit www.gb-4.net Previous Article Drivers line-up Tony Kart Racing Team: 2023 Next Article Team Champions Kevin Mills Racing confirm Jack Clifford in GB4 line-up Print 497 Rate this article: No rating Tags: Jonathan PalmerGB3Jack Cavill Pole Position CupGB4 Championship2023 GB4 Championship2024 single-seater racing programmeUK junior single-seater racingBritish Formula 4teenage Formula Ford driver Comments Please login or register to post comments.
