The CRG official team is continuing its winter preparation with 4 drivers in OK Junior, 2 in OK and 3 in KZ2
Everything’s ready for the 25th Winter Cup on the South Garda track in Lonato, the traditional event at the beginning of the season for the OK Junior, OK and KZ2 classes that summons over 300 drivers and many of the most important teams of international karting. The CRG Racing Team will take part with 9 drivers carrying out the winter work in view of the FIA Championships that will start in April. This is the 2nd step of a path whose aim is developing technical solutions on the new 2020 chassis line as well as perfecting some organization issues inside the official team, that went through several structural changes in the past months.
CRG is introducing many novelties regarding the drivers as well, directing energies on the youth sector. In fact, there will be 4 drivers in OK Junior, amongst whom Micky Magnussen is making his debut with the CRG colours, nephew of the F1 Haas driver. In the Junior’s line up, there are also Aatu Hakalehto, Eric Gené and Francesco Marenghi. In OK Genis Civico will make a strong work program, whilst Ksenia Phoenix will debut with the team. In the end, three drivers will defend the factory team colours in KZ2: Marco Valenti, Brandon Nilsson and Jan Pokos. The event will enter in full swing on Friday with the qualifying practice and the first heats, whilst the finals are scheduled on Sunday since 3.30 pm.
